KGM at the 2024 Korea Festival Federation Square Melbourne, Victoria

We were thrilled to help celebrate in this year’s Korea festival at Federation Square in Melbourne.

The Musso was on proudly on display at this year’s Korea Festival to show-off it’s award for winning the 2024 – Drive Car of the Year Best Dual Cab Ute Under $50,000. Something we’re very proud of.

What better way to celebrate than to try some of the amazing food at the Korea Festival - the Soju never tasted so good!

Organised by the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Melbourne, the Korea Festival is a free event open to the public for two days each year during May. This year the Korea Festival transformed Federation Square into a lively hub of Korean culture, attracting thousands of visitors eager to experience the diverse offerings of Korean cuisine, music, dance, and art.

The festival showcased an array of traditional and contemporary Korean performances, including K-pop concerts, traditional dance, and music performances like the captivating sounds of Samulnori (a form of traditional percussion music). Cultural demonstrations, such as Taekwondo exhibitions and traditional Korean clothing, provided attendees with immersive experience into Korean traditions.

Food stalls were a major highlight, offering a variety of Korean delicacies. Culinary delights that not only satisfied the taste buds but also served as a gateway to understanding Korea’s rich gastronomic culture.

In addition to performances and food, the festival featured workshops and interactive activities. Visitors tried their hand at calligraphy, learned to make kimchi, and participated in traditional games. These hands-on experiences were fun, and designed to foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of Korean culture.
